How to Create a More Fulfilling Future: Week 9 #PersonalGrowth

How To Create a More Fulfilling FutureIf you’ve missed any of the posts over the course of this series then don’t panic – you can catch up by clicking the links at the bottom of this post. Next week we will be summarising all our questions and answers, but for today, I want you to concentrate on dreaming BIG.

As always, you might want to gather your answers together in a personal workbook. Don’t think too hard about each question, just go with the first thing that pops into your head.

If you have been following the entire series, then you’ll hopefully have a fully rounded picture of your life, goals, and aspirations so far. You should have found yourself thinking quite seriously about certain aspects of your life – this is good!

Grab your notebook, your journal, or open a new word document and record your answers so you can refer to them when needed. Today, I want you to think about what you would like to have, be, or do in your life:

Questions for week #9:

  1. Which countries would you like to visit?
  1. What is your ideal job?
  2. What activities/hobbies would you like to try?
  3. If money was no issue, what would you like to do most with your life?

Join me next Monday for an overview of this series and what you can do next with all the answers you’ve collected.

Your responses can be as private or as public as you choose. Feel free to leave your answers in the comments below. If you’d rather not, then simply share how you find the selection of questions, if you can answer them easily or if you struggled, and what you have chosen to do with the answers that came up for you if anything.

  • Happy Monday Shelley!
Which countries would you like to visit?
Oh my there are so many! I want to go to Australia as there is family there I haven’t visited! Dubai, more Carribean islands, I want to take my children to see the Kenya I remember from my childhood holidays. And I’d like to travel around India, not just see the family home in the Punjab which is what my in laws tend to expect we do whenever we go visiting!
    What is your ideal job?
I think I am doing my ideal job. I wanted to teach since I was 7!
What activities/hobbies would you like to try? I’d love to learn how to knit properly!
If money was no issue, what would you like to do most with your life? Write, travel and support my family.

  • Hi Shelley 👋🏻 Love your questions again.
    1. All of the ones I haven’t visited basically, but the top 3 would be Iceland, Japan & Canada (I blame Josy & Em F for the last one)
    2. Either singer, actor, writer or radio DJ please.
    3. Ooh I don’t know. I like my already existing hobbies. If my body was less decrepit I would try sporty hobbies. I always wanted to get into rock climbing.
    4. Travel, travel, travel. And travel. Learn lots of languages. Learn how to play lots of musical instruments. Go to lots of expensive restaurants. And with the rest of my time, just read.

    • Haha, the travel bloggers have a lot to answer for don’t they! 😉 Love your answers, Hayley. I think travel tops so many lists for what we’d do if money and time were no option. The world is getting smaller every day with the advancements in transport etc so hopefully all these incredible places will be in our reach soon. x

  • 1. Which countries would you like to visit? I’d like to visit some European countries: Germany, Croatia, Spain (Barcelona), perhaps for some long weekends. I’d like to go back to Rome as well, because I loved the architecture.
    2. What is your ideal job? I’m in a job I enjoy because I get to help people and connect with them on a human level. I think this is my ideal job as I cannot think of another one I’d rather do!
    3. What activities/hobbies would you like to try? I would love to try learning to play the drums! I’ve actually been considering it more seriously recently, but want to settle into my job and get my studies done first.
    4. If money was no issue, what would you like to do most with your life? I’d still like to help people so perhaps I’d use my money to set up different projects. So many mental health services are being cut, so I would invest my money in them to help keep them going.
